Sahin Coolers Alavez For a Massive Double

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Roman Sahin was all in for 920,000 from early position and up against Briant Alavez in the hijack with nearly 2,000,000 at stake.

Roman Sahin: AA All in
Briant Alavez: AK

Sahin showed down a pair of aces and was a big favorite to earn the massive double up as the flop came 3Q8. The 10 turn gave Alavez a straight draw, but Sahin held up on the Q river as he earned the pot.

Ouertani Sends Mueller Home Via the River

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Manfred Mueller
Manfred Mueller

Manfred Mueller moved all in from under the gun for his last 150,000 and Wissam Ouertani looked at his cards in the big blind, shrugged his shoulders, and called.

Manfred Mueller: A8 All in
Wissam Ouertani: Q7

Mueller had the best hand preflop with ace-high, and that never changed through the 353 flop. A 4 on the turn did add a few more outs for Ouertani as he picked up a gutshot straight draw, and he connected with it on the 6 river.

Mueller sat still for a second just processing what happened, then got to his feet and collected his payout.

Peukert Runs Into Karim's Kings

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Christian Peukert moved all in for 305,000 from under the gun and Michel Karim called in the hijack.

Christian Peukert: K10 All in
Michel Karim: KK

Karim found the last king in the deck on the K8J flop to make top set, but a murmur went up from around the table after the 9 turn gave Peukert outs to a straight. He missed the 4 river, however, and stopped to give Karim a pat on the back before heading to the payout desk.

Vrancsik Takes Out Ashelm

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Action folded to Robert Ashelm who moved all in for 110,000 in the small blind, as Zoltan Vrancsik called in the big blind.

Robert Ashelm: J8 All in
Zoltan Vrancsik: 1010

"I need a jack," Ashelm said once the cards were revealed, but his pleas went unheeded as the board ran out QK748 as Vrancsik's tens earned him the pot and knockout.

Knuth Coolers Virlanuta Out

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Marian Virlanuta opened from under the gun and then ended up getting his stack in against Daniel Knuth, who was in the hijack with 480,000. Virlanuta had 475,000, which meant the loser of the hand would either be eliminated or on life support.

Marian Virlanuta: AK All in
Daniel Knuth: KK

It was a clash of premiums as big slick was up against the cowboys. Both improved on the AJK flop as Virlanuta made two pair, but was behind to the set of Knuth. A Q on the turn meant a ten on the river would put Broadway on board, but that never happened as the 6 meant Virlanuta hit the rail.

Tsouloftas Continues His Tear by Taking Out Sebeledi

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ivan Sebeledi moved all in for 320,000 from under the gun and Georgios Tsouloftas called on the button.

Ivan Sebeledi: AJ All in
Georgios Tsouloftas: AK

Tsouloftas had Sebeledi dominated as the flop came 882. Both players hit two pair on the A turn, but Tsouloftas' king-kicker played after the 3 river to earn him the pot and send Sebeledi to the rail.

"Can I have that seat?" tablemate Carlos Jurado joked with Tsouloftas.

Iuhas Sneaks Into the Money

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Vlad Iuhas moved all in for 50,000 from the cutoff. "All in. Everybody all in," Toni Ravnak, who had been desperately holding on to his small stack all day, said as he shoved for his last 60,000, while the rest of the table folded.

Vlad Iuhas: A5 All in
Toni Ravnak: A8

The 8Q5 flop gave Iuhas a pair of fives, but Ravnak hit a pair of eights to stay in the lead. Ravnak ended up with two pair on the 10 turn and A river, and Iuhas was sent off to collect his min-cash.

Cowboys Cracked as Jobst Bubbles

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Antonios Onoufriou made it 55,000 to go from under the gun and Roman Sahin called in the hijack. Briant Alavez three-bet to 150,000 from the cutoff, and Benno Jobst called off his stack of 80,000 in the small blind. Onoufriou and Sahin both called.

Four-ways to the Q78 flop and when it checked to Sahin, he bet 75,000. Alavez and Onoufriou both folded.

Benno Jobst: KK All in
Roman Sahin: 77

Jobst was in bad shape with his cowboys as Sahin had flopped the jackpot with his pocket sevens. No king arrived on the 6A runout, and Jobst was the last player to leave empty-handed.
