Vrancsik Lying in Wait

Level 20 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Mateusz Sikora moved all in for 180,000 under the gun and Zoltan Vrancsik called in the cutoff. Scott Reynolds then reshoved for 500,000 on the button, and Vrancsik couldn't wait to commit the extra chips.

Mateusz Sikora: AJ All in
Scott Reynolds: AQ All in
Zoltan Vrancsik: AA

The reasons for Vrancsik's optimism soon became apparent when he turned over two aces, having both opponents well covered. The K6454 board offered no miracles to either Sikora or Reynolds, and Vrancsik scored the double knockout.

Alessio La Francesca raised to 60,000 under the gun and Michel Karim three-bet to 150,000 in the hijack. La Francesca then four-bet to 330,000, and Karim called.

The flop came J66 and La Francesca bet 75,000. Karim called and the 5 fell on the turn, where La Francesca bet another 210,000. Karim gave up his hand this time, and La Francesca took the pot.

At the same time at another table, Karsten Knoebel had bet 250,000 from the hijack on a board of JJA23 before Ratmir Kesidis moved all in for 665,000 from the cutoff. Knoebel called with KJ for trips, but Kesidis showed AA for a flopped full house to win the massive pot.

Bognanni's Aces Dodge Hearts to Double

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Marco Bognanni opened from under the gun and Georgios Tsouloftas called from the big blind.

The flop came J39 and after Tsouloftas checked, Bognanni bet 60,000. Tsouloftas then shoved, and Bognanni called off his stack of 310,000.

Marco Bognanni: AA All in
Georgios Tsouloftas: A2

Tsouloftas had a flush draw and needed to find a heart to eliminate Bognanni. There was no love for Tsouloftas, though, as the K3 runout was heartless, which meant Bognanni doubled up.

Giudice Sets Up Ouertani For a Massive Pot

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Giovanni Giudice

Three-handed on a flop of JA10, Wissam Ouertani bet 100,000 from the hijack and Giovanni Giudice called in the cutoff, while Scott Reynolds folded the big blind.

The turn was the 5 and Ouertani moved all in for 510,000, sending Giudice deep into the tank. He agonized over the decision for more than a minute until calling, telling Ouertani he had a set even before the cards were revealed.

Ouertani lowered his head in dejection and tossed AK onto the felt, while Giudice showed his JJ. Ouertani needed a queen to make a straight, but it didn't arrive on the 7 river as Giudice took the massive pot to send Ouertani to the rail.

Lukas Pazma: 99 All in
Fotios Ntamaris: AJ
